Fencing – Privacy and security
We hand build fences to ensure a quality finish. Typical closed board style fences do not allow for the wind to pass through them, instead they act as a sale, catching the wind and as a result stressing the fixings. This is the kind of fence you often see blown down after bad weather. Our hand built fences are sturdier to begin with, and although offer privacy they also allow for the wind to pass through them. Hand building our fences allows them to be tailored to your requirements and taste. Our timber used in our fences is pressure treated to withstand the elements and our fixings are galvanised to prevent rusting.

Ground Works
Ground works or “muck shifting” as it is known in the trade, may involve changing levels or addressing drainage issues, or as preparation for further works such foundations for walls, patios, driveways, decks, lawns or planted areas. May be done by hand or machine, normally determined by the environment and access routes.

Turfing
A lawn provides an attractive green backdrop, and an area to relax on a summer’s day. It may be a prize bowling green finish or an area that children of all ages, love to play on. Our Purpose-grown cultivated turf will provide you with an instant lawn, with varying qualities depending on requirements. Lawns benefit greatly from a mowing strip. Please be aware that a quality lawn requires a quality base to grow on, this may involve drainage.

Beds / Planting
Add a third dimension to your space and make the most impact with your planting by featuring them in a raised planted bed. Beds can be raised using brick walls or timber structures.

Decking
Enjoy entertaining guests with a BBQ on your new hand built, tailored timber deck that is designed around you. This means a deck (similar to a patio) will often be one of the most used areas in your garden. Walls & Retaining Walls
Define a boundary; secure a change in levels, or as part of a feature. All walling can become a feature in its own right, literally lifting your garden from the ground and in to the third dimension. Retaining walls are often part of a project with Excavation and Ground Works and/ or Drainage. Used to provide additional enjoyable space in places you would often have thought impossible. Walls may be finished in facing brick, rendered to give a smooth plaster like finish or built from a decorative stone.
